Westminster Centre is a commercial office and retail building at 555 Sixth Street in the City of New Westminster's Uptown Neighborhood. The existing ground floor contains a number of retail businesses. The upper stories house a three-screen movie cinema which will be removed and replaced with approximately 41,400 square feet of office space on three levels. Construction in the existing ground level will include a structural core to support the new office floors.
New building construction includes:
- Structural steel frame and two steel stairways.
- Exterior skin: curtain wall, aluminum panels, stone cladding, 2-ply built up membrane.
- Three elevators and stairway in a concrete core.
- Core and structural components will be drywalled and ready for paint.
- T-bar ceiling and light fixture throughout tenant areas.
