The Thompson Rivers University New Student Residence is a highrise building constructed on the TRU campus inKamloops, BC. The 210,000 sf building rises 11 storeys above the ground with a basement. The residence provides accommodations for 584 students to help fill the growing housing demand for the rapidly expanding Thompson Rivers University. The building is located to provide ready access to campus facilities while affording impressive views of the Thompson River valley and surrounding areas. Several types of spacious suites are incorporated into the design, including 1, 2 and 4 bedroom units as well as 8 high-end loft units. The basement and first floor include a variety of storage, service and common areas and each of the upper floors include a variety of lounges, study areas and common kitchens.
