Royal Inland Hospital 2nd Floor Redevelopment - Kamloops

The Royal Inalnd Hospital project consists of eight phases designed to expand and renovate the hospital.

Phase 1 consists of a 28,000 sq. ft. concrete and steel addition.  The new addition will provide a home for the emergency department, medical imaging, nuclear medicine, MRI suite, and some administration.

Upon completion of Phase 1, as departments are relocated into their new locations, their original location will be renovated to house other departments such as Pharmacy, Vascular/Cardio/Neuro, Pre-Admissions, and additional medical imaging, to name a few.

Work commenced in October of 2003.  The new addition is scheduled for completion in November of 2004.  Phases 2 through 8 shall be constructed progressively with Phase 8 scheduled for completion in June of 2006.
